WHAT A SUCCESS…THE JOY ELEMENT: NATURE

MANY THANKS to everyone who attended my Fine Art Photography Show on June 17, 2017 and also MANY THANKS who purchased my art…

I cannot tell you how honored I am to be blessed by such a successful show.  You bought to me your warmest wishes and your appreciation of my art and this means the world to me.  The strangers who walked in and those who made purchases, now know who I am and some of the type of work that I do.  All the elements formed together to make this an event worthy of dedication, focus, self-imposed confidence and determination!  For those who missed this wonderful event, the collection of The Joy Element: Nature is on my website.  This collection was based on the world’s basic elements:  Air, Fire, Earth, Water.  I must say seeing these images in person is so much better than seeing them on-line because they literally come to life!

For those who bid on the silent auction to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities  , a huge Thank YOU!  Because of you, we collectively raised over $1250 for the charity.  The lucky winner of this incredible infrared image titled: One Last View was Heidi and Bijan Afkami.   For those who are interested in acquiring this framed 20 x 30 canvas fine art piece of  the famous Austin Landmark known as the Penny Backer Bridge, also commonly referred to as 360 Bridge,  can contact me  directly @ info@diannawalkerphotography.com.  The value of this framed image is $1200.  For a limited time only, this image will be offered for $950. For each purchase, I will donate an additional $100 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas.

THE GIFT OF GRATITUDE:  The quality that went into the printing for both the canvasses and acrylics, one could not ask for anything better.  The framing complimented each canvas perfectly.  I want to thank ‘A Frame of Mind’, Carla Heinrich for her expertise with this job, along with  Canvas Press for their careful care in printing (you saved me many times over!).  Three other outstanding partners in this venture were Killa Wasi, a Peruvian Inspired Food Bus…Katie, you and your staff were totally awesome as well as the food!  Sara’s Sweets…the maker of the most awesome hand-painted cookies ever!  Sara, you did an amazing job!  I was so proud to see my logo ‘dlw’ on the cookies.  Tapas Innovation  by Stephanie Crain, an independent marketing consultation, did a marvelous job on design and advertising!

WHAT IS AN EVENT WITHOUT A LOCATION? Thank you Ashton Austin Luxury Apartments located at 101 Colorado St., Austin, TX . The staff was so kind and accommodating…Rita Anderson, mgr who was gracious enough to allow us to hold the event there, along with Natalie, Front Desk staff, James, Valerie, Amanda and Pierre…and my dear friend Susan Griffith!       Thank you all so much!!

NOW I AM READY FOR MY NEW SHOW!
